Before the actual shell, the Espolón was characterised by the old metal Kiosk. Born as a pavilion for military events, it soon became a social centre for the citizens, where collective and public activities could be held. An emblematic and appreciated piece of architecture that was replaced by the current shell after the renovation of the square according to more modern canons and needs. The old pavilion had time to get to know its successor, coexisting with it until 1953, when it disappeared and nobody knows what became of it. The old pavilion became a legend, which only exists in the memory of a few citizens.

The memory of the old kiosk manifests itself in the visions of the citizens of Logroño as an evanescent and changing orange spectre. An ethereal and semi-transparent apparition that wants to evoke the legend of the old kiosk for the city, recalling its shape, size and location, but without its materiality. An ephemeral and light entity that moves with the wind and the people, briefly returning to the city the memory of one of its places, and putting it back into dialogue with the current shell, in a confrontation between past, present and future.
