About
Studio
Established in 2018 by Maria Vittoria Tesei (architect and urban planner) and Flavio Martella (PhD architect and engineer), m²ft architects seeks to delve into the complexities of architecture by taking into consideration different disciplines. Our focus is to explore this intersectionality and create innovative solutions that aim to go beyond conventional structures. With this philosophy in mind, we envision designing projects that not only reflect formal expression but also fulfil functional needs, while keeping environmental and social factors in mind.
We strive to achieve a harmonious integration of progressive urban vision and quality design implementation in our work, believing that this balance can result in impactful and sustainable projects that might benefit both communities and the environment.
m²ft architects not only specialize in architectural and urban design but also actively participates in the disciplinary conversation with a substantial body of theoretical work. This contributes to add value and depth to their design approach, ultimately resulting in more conscious projects. By synthesizing research, insights, and innovations, this office positions itself to help foster the understanding of contemporary lifestyles while actively shaping the conversations surrounding them, to produce more thoughtful architectures.
